Terms of use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

By using this website you accept the terms below. If they are not acceptable to you, please leave the site.

1. The operator

This site is operated by the person named on our About page.

2. Purpose of the site

Everything here describes a one-person practice working in piano tuning and maintenance: tuning by ear against a reference, regulation of the action, voicing of the hammers, small repairs to keys, dampers, strings and pedals, and a written condition note before an instrument is bought. The text and illustrations are information only; nothing on the site is an offer, a reservation or a contract.

3. Illustrative material

Where this site uses illustrations, they represent the type of work we do and are not photographs of specific items we hold in stock. Availability, specification and price change, and are confirmed only when we quote them to you in writing.

4. Enquiries

Sending a message creates an enquiry, nothing more. Nothing is reserved, booked or sold through this website, and no payment is taken here. Anything binding is agreed separately, in writing.

5. Copyright

The site's text, design and illustrations belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. Commercial reproduction needs our written permission.

6. Liability

We try to keep the site accurate and fix mistakes as we find them. Nothing in these terms takes away a consumer's statutory rights.

7. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of the address given on the About page.
